Let's Talk About Your Project

My Story

Hi, I'm Denise

I'm a NAPO® Professional Organizer based in Scottsdale, Arizona. I've been helping people organize their homes for more than a decade, and I still love getting to know each client's story.

Before I became a Professional Organizer, I was a schoolteacher, and I studied psychology at Occidental College. All three taught me the same thing: everyone is different, and listening comes first. I never rush a hard decision, and what happens in your home stays between us.

I'm also an artist. That same eye shows up when I'm staging a home to sell, rearranging a room so it feels fresh, or setting up a space that's as pleasant to look at as it is to use.

I'm a problem solver by nature, and I'm never afraid to get my hands dirty. So many of my clients have invited me back for new projects, new homes, and new chapters of their lives. Those relationships mean the world to me.

The Story Behind the Logo

Why I Chose a Golden Lotus

The lotus grows up through muddy water, yet the mud slides right off its leaves and petals, and it still blooms clean. For thousands of years it has stood for purity in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, and the golden lotus is often linked with enlightenment.

To me, it sums up this work. I want to help you rise above the clutter and enjoy the calm of a home that finally works for you.

Words to Organize By

A Little Organizing Wisdom

“Later is the best friend of clutter.”

Peter Walsh

“Happiness is a place between too little and too much.”

Finnish Proverb

“A place for everything, and everything in its place.”

Mrs. Beeton

“Clear your stuff. Clear your mind.”

Eric M. Riddle

“If someone doesn't live with you, neither should their stuff.”

Unknown

“Clear clutter, make space for you.”

Magdelena Vandenberg

“If a stuffed animal has a name, keep it. If it doesn't, donate it.”

And for a laugh, nobody says it better than George Carlin's classic “Stuff” routine. Fair warning, there's some salty language. Watch it on YouTube.
